Lets talk meal/food prep…
How many times have you caught yourself snacking non-stop throughout the day, never feeling satisfied, or being in too much of a rush to prepare a proper meal making you opt for an easier and less nutritious option?
It happens to the best of us. But, an easy fix is meal prepping or food prepping. For some, meal prepping is a saving glory, while others prefer to food prep instead.
What’s the difference?
Meal prepping involves pre-cooking and sorting meals (e.g. pre-making breakfast or lunch) for the upcoming week/few days ahead, to have each one ready to grab from the fridge.
Food prepping involves cooking/preparing food (e.g. cooking protein, roasting some veggies etc.), so that you have plenty of ready-to-go options to mix and match into a meal for in the moment, or to prep for the next day.
So, if you find you are frequently short on time to make a filling and nutritious meal, and instead you are having to spend money buying lunch or find yourself feeling sick or tired during the day, meal/food prep might be for you.
Whichever you like the sound of more, meal-prep or food-prep, this is your sign to give one of them a go.
