Tongue Diagnosis is another tool used in a TCM consultation to reveal how the body is functioning.
As you can tell by the image, when looking at the tongue we look at its colour, shape, coating and movements.
These characteristics highlight different situations which may be happening in the body.
Have you got internal cold or heat? Is your condition related to Qi, blood, Yin or Yang? Your body might be in excess or are you experiencing deficiency?
These hints help us piece together a whole picture of how your body is functioning. This helps up determine what might be going on inside.
