What brings people in
People come to us at every point in the process.
- Getting ready: looking after your health in the months before a cycle begins
- During stimulation: support through injections, scans and monitoring
- Egg collection and transfer: treatment planned around your clinic’s dates

Why support matters

IVF asks a lot of you, physically and emotionally.
Keeping up with the appointments, medication and scans can feel like a second job, and the waiting can be the hardest part. Stress, poor sleep and feeling run down make it all harder.
We plan treatment around your clinic’s timetable, so it fits with your cycle rather than adding to the load, and we adjust as your plans change.
We don’t replace anything your clinic does. We work alongside them.
What to expect
1. Discover
We go through your history, your clinic’s plan and where you’re up to, and plan treatment around your key dates. You’ll have treatment in that first session.
2. Through your cycle
Sessions timed around stimulation, egg collection and transfer, with support during the two-week wait. We check in every visit and adjust as things change.
3. Whatever comes next
If you fall pregnant, we can keep supporting you through pregnancy. If a cycle doesn’t work, we’re here to help you recover and prepare for what’s next.
What treatment involves
Your practitioner will choose from the following, depending on what you need. Most plans combine two or three.
- Acupuncture. Fine, single-use needles placed at specific points, with sessions timed around your clinic’s dates.
- Chinese herbal medicine. We’re careful with herbs during IVF and only use them where appropriate, with your clinic’s knowledge.
- Nutrition. Practical advice on eating well before and during your cycle.
- Stress and sleep. Simple, practical ways to manage stress and rest well through a demanding time.
Alongside your fertility clinic
We work alongside your fertility specialist, not instead of them. Let your clinic know you’re seeing us, and never stop or change anything they’ve prescribed.
Bring your treatment plan and key dates to your first visit, and tell us about every medication and supplement you take.
Who you’ll see
Every practitioner at the clinic is AHPRA registered in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine.

Questions people ask
When should I start?
Ideally a couple of months before your cycle begins, so we can get to know you, but we can see you at any stage.
Will you work with my clinic?
Yes. We plan around your clinic’s dates and are happy to communicate with your specialist.
Do I need to stop any medication?
No. Never stop or change anything your clinic has prescribed. Tell us everything you take, including supplements.
Does acupuncture hurt?
The needles are very fine, far thinner than the ones used for injections. You may feel a brief pinch, then a dull, heavy or warm sensation. Most people find it relaxing.
Can I claim on private health insurance?
Rebates may be available through private health funds with extras cover, depending on your policy. Check with your fund, and see our consultation fees.
